Eileen worked hard as a homemaker and took pride in her family. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Centralia Eagles #512. She had a passion for bowling (spending multiple days a week at Chehalis Bowl), drawing, knitting, crocheting, and her family.
Eileen was known for her quick wit, selflessness, humor, and love for her family and friends. She loved her big family, all of which were residing within close proximity. She also loved all of her "adopted" family. Never would she turn someone away. She put everyone else before herself.
She was preceded in death by her: Husband Jesse; Sons: Frederick and Lewis; Sisters: Clara "Evelyn" Dorsey, Shirley Shipp, and O'Reta "Rita" Gates; and Brothers: William Briggs, Lewis Briggs, Gene Briggs, Clifford Briggs, and Ralph Briggs.
She is survived by her children: Patrick (Janice) Gish, Teresa (Dennis) Johnson, Linda (Kenneth) Decker, Roger (Rosie) Gish. She is also survived by granddaughter Diana Gish and great-granddaughter Jessica Eileen Ullmann (Karlin Kain Shearer) who resided with her and were her caregivers. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was loved by many and touched the heart of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.
