Robert was like a grandson to me as well as a good friend.  I wsh I had a photograph of him to put with the rest of the famkily pictures.

We are all heartbroken to hear of Robert's passing. 

When I was so lucky to visit with my buddy Joe, the memories of him running to greet us, or bouncing on the trampoline make me smile.  Such a sweet, beautiful boy.

Robert was a student in my 6th grade classroom, Lewis and Clark School, Lewistown, Montana. The Hennessey family had just moved to Lewistown and I had the priviledge of teaching Robert. He was a gifted student who was so outgoing and kind and respectful to everyone. His family traveled a lot, and I remember when Rob was in 7th grade I invited him to speak to my class after one of his travels.  He was so poised and confident talking about his adventures. I received many gifts from Rob including a mug from Chicago (which I use daily), a painting from his travels in SA., as well as Egyptian mementos when he visited a museum.
Robert, this teacher will never forget you.  Students like you, and your sister Erin leave such a positive impact on everyone you meet.

Robert you were one of my best friends growing up i literally lived at ur house almost the whole time u lived here in Lewistown im glad your parents were cool with it lol. You guys treated me like i was part of the family. You and your family took me on so many trips to places i might not ever go again and i thank you for that. We lost touch after you moved away but i never forgot about you. Hearing that you passed hurts and doesnt seem real. Ill never forget the memories we shared. I love you man r.i.p

I remember Robert as a happy, engaging, full of life young man with a quick smile and a kind word. I will always remember him as a student in my class with a quick wit. His presence made everyone around him want to be there. You will be missed.

Robert was a very special young man. I admired his heart, compassion and intelligence. He was a proud brother of Erin. They are both two special people I had a connection with as a teacher. Robert always thought of others before himself. He will be missed. My family and I were blessed to know him.

The brightest of lights sometimes burn quickly.  Wishing you and your family peace and love.
