Mr. Kiker was born July 22, 1929 in Fort Worth, TX, son of the late William Charles Kiker and Junie May Payne Kiker.
He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and met and married the love of his life, Lillie Mae Cudd, while stationed in SC in 1949. They lived the rest of their lives together until her passing in 2013. Charles was known to many as Pawpaw and to others as Cowboy and was a faithful member of the Silver Star Cowboy Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Mae; son, Edward Jay Kiker; and sisters, Joycelyn, Alice Fay, and Jeanneane.
Mr. Kiker is survived by his children, Michael Ray Kiker, Barry Wayne Kiker (Julie) and Myra Lynne Young (Bryan); daughter-in-law, Michelle Kiker; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings; Diane Polino and William Wayne Kiker; and many nieces, nephews and friends of the children and family.
The family will gather at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel to receive friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 1, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the funeral home with visitation held one hour prior to the service with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
