

He was a beloved husband, father and paw-paw. Clifford was a 1956 graduate of East Mecklenburg High School and enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars. He was a member of the Early Ford V8 Club of America and Hornets Nest Car Club.
After 35 years of service, he retired in 1991 from Charlotte Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean Grayson; son Cliff Grayson, Jr; daughters, Karen Dulin, Sharon Ashmore(Ron), and Hope Campbell; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton A. Grayson and Wanna Grayson; sisters Judy Tiller and Joyce Hartsell and brother Alton Grayson.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 11:00am-1:00pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Wilson Grove Baptist Church where Clifford was a member. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation with Pastor Rob Mariucci officiating.
