Known for his loving heart, caring nature, and unwavering honesty, Donald lived a life full of kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to his family and community.
Donald found joy in the simple pleasures of life—caring for his lawn, spending time in the mountains and at the beach, and cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, no matter the time or place. His love for animals, especially his cherished "diva dog" Missy and the neighborhood pets, was a reflection of his gentle and compassionate spirit.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sherry Dulin; his daughter, Shannon Martin; stepdaughter, Michele Robbins; and stepsons, Ned and Steve Robbins. He was a proud grandfather to Justin Martin, Elizabeth, McKenzie, Emily and Scott Robbins. Donald is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, CW, Hamp, Hood, and Ricky Dulin; his dear Aunt, Iola Deese; and extended family members, Paula, Kelly, Ben, and Lindsay of the Jeff Dulin family. He shared a particularly special bond with his nephew, Jeff, a relationship that brought him great joy.
Donald’s legacy of love and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation for Donald will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
