Donna Faye King

Born April 6, 1933 in East Spencer, NC, Susie was a daughter of the late Bessie and John Marshall. She was a graduate of Tech High School, and retired from Delmar Printing Company. Susie was a member of the Canasta Club for over 45 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gene King, whom she married March 2, 1952, and eight brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her children, Lynn Collins Tew (Charlie), Mike King (fiancé, Lisa Blount) and Wayne King; grandchildren, Zak Collins (Alison), Jon Collins (Jennifer), Lindsey Tew (fiance, Ray Williams), Dustin King (Beth), Derick King, Tommy King and Heather King; brother, Jack Marshell (Peggy), many nieces and nephews, and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
