Born November 9, 1953 to Ernest and Beulah Garcia, he was the youngest of three boys. Eddie never complained about his disabilities, he was always kind, cheerful, and happy. His brothers, Nick and Mike, always looked out for him.
Eddie loved all tech gadgets. He was our "go to" guy for phones, TVs. and computers. He loved history, reading, 40's music, and old movies. The highlight of Eddie's year was the summer week he spent at Camp Dogwood with his friends. Eddie's favorite activity was the pontoon boat ride on Lake Norman. He looked forward to this week all year. Eddie loved being with family and friends.
Eddie leaves behind his sister-in-law, Terry Garcia; niece, Wendy "Kendall" Shaw (Claude); nephews, Hayden Poulin (Tara) and Josh Poulin; and grand-nephews and nieces, Nolan (Drew), Journey, Teagan, Kendra, Ainsley, Rylan, Santana, Gavin, Vivianna, Ben, Caleb, and Aidan.
A visitation for Eddie and his brother, Mike, will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 3:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:30pm at MCEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park- 5716 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28212.
