Johnny loved the outdoors. He was an avid gardener, could grow and keep anything alive. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gambling. He was able to keep up his love for fishing and gambling into his later years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben James Mullis and Eunice Bartlett Mullis; sister, Betty Mullis Flow (Bill), and brother, Richard Lee Mullis (Frances).
Johnny leaves behind his loving partner of 35 years, Darlene Mable Smith; children, Frankie Mullis (Shonny Britton) and Cheryl Dombroski (Adrian); siblings, James David Mullis (Jenny) and Jean Mullis Barbee (Jim); 4 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Johnny will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
