Our family would really like to thank the people who have taken such wonderful care of her in the past few years; Minnie Hill, Anne Austin, Betty Love, Ashley Waters, Francine McClain, Mary Hayes and Becky Stewart by staying with Kathryn in her home. Kathryn really enjoyed the companionship and care from these ladies and the restaurants they visited.
Once it was determined Kathryn needed to have additional care and she moved to The Villages of Mint Hill, Clara Sanchez welcomed her and became a good friend as they talked and walked for exercise. Her caregivers at Villages of Mint Hill, Francis Lainez, Angy Lainez, Mildred Parker, and Lucy Madine did everything possible to help Kathryn’s move to her new home to be very enjoyable.
Our family also wants to thank Laura and Ken Odea, who spent many hours with our family helping us find just the right place for Kathryn to live once she needed additional care. God blessed our family by placing these loving and gracious people in our path.
For anyone wanting to consider a memorial gift to Kathryn, it would be appreciated that donations be sent to her church in her memory; Cornerstone Baptist Church, 8947 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28227.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mcewenminthillchapel.com for the Rogers family.
