Malcolm moved to the US from England in 1967. He proudly became a United States Citizen on February 23, 2012. Most of his 30 year working career was spent as a manger of various shoe stores. He left shoes to work in landscaping with his good friends for a few years. He became a stay at home dad when Ashleigh was in 3rd grade. He loved working in the yard, cooking and taking care of his wife, daughters and dogs. He loved camping with his best friends and spending time with his family. Malcolm always had a smile on his face and was loved by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Edith Grandfield.
He is survived by his wife Christine Lizak Grandfield; daughters, Christa Grandfield and Ashleigh Grandfield; grandsons, Brian Kling, Jr. and Thomas Hold; brothers, Stanley Grandfield of England, Terry Grandfield of Colorado, and Rick Grandfield of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a time of gathering and sharing memories from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel.
