

Mark Eugene Heritage, age 63, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. He was born on October 17, 1958, in Portage County, OH to parents, Bernice (Rothermel) and Austin E. Heritage. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend to all.
On August 28, 1982, Mark married the love of his life, Lori (O’Hare) who survives him. Their love was unbreakable and continues to this day and beyond. Together they had 3 children: Brandon (Lauren) Heritage, Kathryn (Nick) Urquhart, and Alex (Rachel) Heritage. Mark has 2 sisters: Diane (Marshall) Mullins and Camille (Ken) Tillman. “Papa” as he was called by his grandchildren: Jack Heritage, Sam Heritage, Clare Urquhart, and Olen Urquhart will miss him dearly.
For almost 40 years, he was a blue collar, hardworking tower operator for Nestle/Stouffers. Working primarily in the freezer, he made many lasting friendships, and a generated a work ethic and passion for life that he passed on to his family.
Mark’s second passion beyond his family was his love for the game of golf. He was an avid golfer and enthusiast for the game. He has achieved an impressive 3 hole-in-ones, which even up to his final days, he reminded to his sons and golf friends.
His too soon passing was a huge saddening to the many lives that he touched. However, the love for life, family, and kindness that he shared to all that came in his presence is something that will be remembered forever.
