Nancy Price Queen

Nancy Price Queen 74, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Born on July 21,1949, in Charlotte North Carolina. Daughter of Marvin Pressley Price and Kathleen Helms Price and was the wife of Steven Howard Queen Sr.

Nancy's smile and laughter was infectious and love for her family and friends was extraordinary. She attended Garinger High School and lived most of her life in Charlotte North Carolina while going to North Myrtle Beach several times a year to enjoy SOS, the shag life and spending time with her forever friends. Inevitably she moved to the beach, where she met and married her husband, Steve. After many years together, the two of them decided to move to Blairsville GA. While still loving the beach, she grew to have a great admiration for the mountains and the laid-back living during their retirement years. Her life was about living at the fullest, her fur babies (Cody, Sebastian and Zan) and seeing her family as much as possible.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Steve Queen

Children, Wendy Schultz (Donnie), Stephanie Tanner (Cyndi), Sam Tanner (Maggie): Stepson, Steven Queen Jr.

Grandchildren, James Ross (Meagan), Denna Suchonic (Michael), Paige Schultz, James Cochrane, Sophie Tanner and Chas Tanner

Great Grandchildren, Karalyne Ross, Kendall Ross, Ayverie Suchonic and Alyse Cochrane

A visitation will be held for Nancy at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227 on April 13th, 2024, from 1:00 until 4:00pm allowing family and friends to reflect and celebrate Nancy's beautiful life.
