My last memory of dad was working together in VBS. That will forever be with me for life, knowing that we were planning for the next day. I never asked him to show me how to make a paper airplane because I expected him to one day show me. I wasn’t prepared for him to pass on, but it happened. I will miss him on Earth while trying to do right in his memory and hopefully do things he wanted me to do 

I met Mr. White a few times through Mrs. White. He was such a nice and kind person. I always heard stories about him through Mrs. White. I loved hearing stories about them from how they met to memories of raising their children. Mr. and Mrs. White's love for God and each other is admirable and inspiring. I'm thankful to know that Mr. White is in Heaven and we will see him again.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Norman. Thomas has fond childhood memories of Norman and the White family since they grew up on the same street and attended church together.  Thomas did the hardwood floors for Norman and Cathy when they moved back into the family home on Sunway Dr. We too bought Thomas's family home so we all are neighbors. We often would see Norman and Mitch out for a run. Cathy and family we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Norman was a great man and a true servant of the lord! He's still serving on high. Rest well Norman until we shall see you again one fine day in heaven. 💔😪💔🙏🙏

This has been a hard week for everyone that knew Norman White. I remember Norman from teaching him in Sunday school. Norman was a quite and shy boy then. The years that followed Norman became a humble servant for the Lord.
Thank You Norman for being an example to everyone you meet while here on this earth. My prayers are that those who knew you will strive to be an example to others just as you were. 
I believe Norman would say  it is well with my soul. 
Praying for Kathy, the children and all of the family. 


My last memory of my dad is coming back to his house after VBS, the kids racing us to the door and me and him laughing about how there was no one inside to let them in. Telling him good bye, and I loved him, and I would see him tomorrow. I can't remember hugging him good-bye that night and I will always wish I had given him one last hug. He was the best dad in the world, and I'm going to miss him  the rest of my life. But I know he's in a place with no more pain, no more sorrow, and I will see him again.

Hi my name is Jameriam Black, I knew Mr.Norman from CMS. Mr Norman was one of the best Mechanics at Craig. He was always willing to help. I remember Mr.Norman coming to my bus on numerous occasions and  he would always have something funny to say, there was never a dull moment with him... He will be truly missed.

Words cannot express how devastated I am. I have had the distinct privilege to work side by side with Norman the last 4 years.  There are way to many memories to list in this short space!  Norman was a true servant of the Lord and never hesitated to stop what he was doing just to go help someone in need! Although I am heartbroken and sad I am comforted knowing that Norman is in heaven watching down on all of us!!!!!! Well done thy good and faithful servant!  

I knew Mr. Norman from CMS he was my mechanic at Craig Ave.  Mr. Norman was funny whenever there was a problem with my bus I'll see him on the lot and tell him the problem he never say call dispatch they'll send someone,  he always say I'll look at it or he'll make fun of my bus not again,  I'm gonna truly miss you 😪 Mr. Norman may you RIP my condolences to the family

Although I didn't know Mr. White, I work closely with his son and namesake Norman Mitchell White Jr., affectionately known as"Mr. Mitch". We here at Matthews ASEP know Mr. White was a great man because he had a hand in raising such a great son. Mr. Mitch I want you to know that you and your family are in our prayers.

I'm going to miss this really great man. Always a smile and sometimes a joke or two. My last conversation with him at vacation bible school was about Converse tennis shoes. He had me laughing, almost in tears. Love and prayers to Cathy and the kids one of my favorite families. Rest high on that mountain, Norman my friend.

The death of Norman has been the most devastating news. I suppose I have known  Norman most of his life.  The Whites were our “behind our house” neighbors.  We lived  on Hannon Road and the Whites lived on Subway Drive.
Norman and my brother Mark Gladden were the best of friends growing up.  Norman was at our house a lot……always with nice manners and such a good kid.  
Norman has grown up to be an awesome Christian man, a wonderful husband and father and grandfather,
What a tremendous loss, not only to Kathy and his family, but to his church family and this community.  
Our great loss…….heaven’s great gain..

I met Norman and his family through my cousin Monica. We were always welcomed by the family and they were always polite. 
Norman was a great man, a great husband, and father. He treated everyone equal. He loved to pick around with the kids. He never met a stranger. 
He will definitely be missed. 

He was the best dad on this earth he Taught me so much in life like how to swim when I didn’t even know how to swim.  He took me in car rides in his mustang and then we took a beach trip with the family together I’m gonna miss dad 😭😭
