Robert (Bob) Ernest Greene, 84 of Mint Hill, NC passed away March 4, 2013. Bob was born in Wadeville, NC on April 20, 1928.
He is predeceased by his wife Jean Lisk Greene who passed in June of 2001. He is survived by his sisters; Eunice Scott of Charlotte, NC and Hope Dunham of Columbia, SC., his children; Robert Greene of Colorado Springs, CO, Karen Henry of Charlotte, NC, Jodi Ross of Charlotte, NC and David Greene of Holmes Beach, FL. Bob was very proud of his children, his six grandchildren and his two great-grand children. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at his house in Lake Tillery and spending time with family.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 at McEwen Mint Hill Chapel 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227 followed by a chapel service at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Charlotte or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
