Roberta Poirier "Bobbie" Moore

A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Bobbie built her life around caring for others.

In 1973 she married Gregory Moore, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, adventure, and unwavering support. She cherished her role as mother to her two daughters, Jennifer and Amy, who filled her life with love and purpose.

Bobbie spent 33 years as a dedicated nurse at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. Her compassion, steady presence, and commitment to her patients earned her the respect and love of colleagues and families alike.

Outside of her work, she loved knitting and was an avid reader, rarely without a book nearby. She enjoyed gardening, particularly bright colored flowers, and spending time in the sunshine. Bobbie was strong in her faith and an active member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, teaching at Sunday School and singing with the Christiannaires.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Gregory Moore of Midland, NC; two daughters, Jennifer Moore and Amy Moore, both of Charlotte, NC; and her two brothers, Michael Poirier of Brewer, ME, and Timothy Poirier of Sidney, ME.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Harris Campus Chapel, located at 7200 East WT Harris Boulevard in Charlotte, followed by a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am.
