Ronald Joseph Aderhold

Ron is survived by Helen, his wife of 41 years, and his two daughters, Beth and Katy. He is also survived by his younger siblings, Jerald (Phyllis) Aderhold and Monica (Kevin) Blake, along with their families in New York where he was born and grew up.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sylvia Aderhold, as well as his older brother Tommy Aderhold.

A graduate of Canisius College, Ron worked for many years as a senior account executive in e-commerce distribution solutions. His tenacity and business savvy translated well when he negotiated at car dealerships.

Ron loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his friends and family. He was a dedicated host and cook, and was happiest when he could make sure that all of his guests had their drink of choice. For the last 25 years he never missed hosting his annual Fourth of July party.

Ron could often be found golfing with friends, on fishing trips off the NC coast, and making the trek to visit family in New York and see the Bills (hopefully) defeat the Panthers.

He will be deeply missed by all those lucky enough to know him.

A public memorial gathering for Ronald will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227.
