Marie was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist church where she sang in the church choir. Loving mother of Lewie H. Rosner, Michelle Casano Clark and husband Brian Clark and Linda Casano Levine. She was preceded to heaven by her father, Lewie G. Avery; mother, Ruby Norris Avery and her sister, Dale Avery Wenal.
She is survived by her children; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church, 6401 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC 28215. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Novant Hospice and Palliative Care, the American Cancer Society and Hickory Grove UMC.
