Scott was a native Charlottean, a compassionate soul and loved by all who knew him. He made a career out of residential painting.
Scott is survived by his daughters; Madden McKenzie and Desiree Alexis Green, mother, Lynne Barkley and Stepfather Rusty Barkley, father, Roy Lee Green, Jr. and stepmother, Donna Green, siblings; Mary Barkley, John Barkley and Ramsey Rogers, grandparents; David and Marty Hafer, aunt, Lisa Hafer Hite and cousins, Sheila Ann Varney, Stephen Varney and Maegan DeJong.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Roy Lee Green, Sr. and Betty Green, and cousin, Curtis DeJong.
Family will receive friends Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at Arlington Baptist Church, 9801 Arlington Church Rd., Mint Hill, NC 28227. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM. Scott will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
