So many great memories of Taylor but I just wanted to say that she was a special friend to me.  She was there for me during some of the most difficult times I've experienced.  She never judged me and always gave the best hugs.  She was so sweet and everyone loved her energy.  Some of my fondest moments of Taylor were centered around our Sunday dinners.  We were roomies in college and I loved to wake her up early in the mornings to chat about the day before... we had the best conversations.  She is a light and she will always be remembered that way. I love you, Taylor.

I’m so grateful that my last memory of Taylor and family. We were at the mountains in search of Christmas trees   When all trees were brought and loaded on the cars.   We all went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner   Great memories to hold onto in my heart of fun and fellowship

My heart just hurts for you all so much. Taylor had such a sweet, funny, caring, and down-to-earth spirit. When she was in college in Wilmington I enjoyed meeting up with her at Wrightsville beach for runs and talks...and she was there to talk (& run) during my own family’s dark hours when my sister passed. She also went on to babysit and tote around my niece Kaylee after her mom’s passing....she just loved little ones and I’m sad I didn’t get to see her with her own in these recent years...and broken that they won’t have her this side of heaven...there just are no words to ease the pain and suffering - but I am pleading our Father for comfort for you Tad, Pam, Shelby, Brooke - and John (though I haven’t met you, I know that if Taylor chose you, you’re awful special). I’m praying that the Holy Spirit meets you right where you are in this painful, broken world - and floods your hearts and minds with peace that comes only from Him.

I cannot think of middle school/high school memories without having Taylor’s smile and fun antics be a part of them.  Birthday parties, church camp, sleepovers... she was always ready to lighten up the room with her fun ways, and in a transitional time in all of our lives we loved her for that. More than that, she was a caring, authentic person and for that she made the world a better place. I am so sorry for your loss. Holding you all in my heart.

It has been awhile but I've always had the highest regard for your family and great memories. Taylor was a witty, fun loving, very positive, and such a special person who was the best friend of many. Taylor will always hold a special place in my heart. She always knew how to make me laugh, and made every moment memorable. I don’t know how many times I got roped into lavish pranks, or how many times she played jokes on me. She wasn’t scared to shave her legs at work, dress up in crazy costumes, or drop everything to comfort a friend in need. The world is dimmer without her in it. I will cherish every memory we created together.

I am so sad to hear of Taylor’s passing. I cannot imagine what you are going through and I can only plead to the Father that he would give you great and tangible comfort and peace during this time. Since Brooke was my age, my memories of Taylor are mostly of her as the “little sister”, but it was very evident that the Baucom sisters were very close. Brooke and Shelby - I cannot imagine losing my sister. I pray that this brings the two of you even closer and that you are able to lean on each other in a way that only sisters can. Tad and Pam - I don’t have adequate words for what it means to lose a child. I pray that God would uphold you and give you great strength. John - I don’t know you personally, but I pray that you, too, would know and experience the love of God in a real way during this time. I will be praying for you as you care for your 2 boys in the midst of your grief.

I met Taylor at work. We immediately bonded over our love of hair. She’d come in and ask me to give her a cute braid or to brush her hair on our breaks. During her second pregnancy we got even closer. I’d make sure she had whatever she needed to be comfortable at work. She loved my purple blanket and she had full ownership of it during that time too lol. She was so sweet and helpful too. When I was looking for someone to paint my place she immediately volunteered her husband, who did an awesome job by they way. She even gifted me some curtains. We loved talking about home decor. Ill miss our jokes, phone calls, and conversations about everything from HGTV to day to day life. My condolences go out to the family. She was such a beautiful soul and will be missed by many.

Taylor was my partner in crime most of my childhood. Always down for an adventure and fearless which matched my love for anything that involved fun. Summer camps, sleep overs, bike rides, birthday parties, beach getaways, youth group get togethers, Fourth of July celebrations, pool parties, choreographed dance numbers, rescued kittens and laughter to make your stomach hurt. Taylor was always there. I love you. I’ll miss you. 

She recommended that I go to the Copper Penny in Wilmington when I go there. I had never been or heard of that place before, but the food and people were absolutely amazing. Taylor always had an idea of where to go. She always made me smile and was so genuine. Whenever I go to the Copper Penny, I will always think of you, Taylor.  Sending my love to her family and friends.

Taylor was fiercely loyal and always someone you’d want in your corner. She could change the mood of a room just by smiling, her laughter and spirit was contagious. My heart is so broken and heavy for this loss. Growing up Taylor was always a role model and "big sister" I looked up to. I loved her spunky personality, kind heart, and beautiful smile. Some of the best days during my years at UNCW were spent living with Taylor, sharing endless laughs and memories.
