Terry graduated from Independence High School in Charlotte, NC. He had a long working career in printing as a pressman. His heart was in music and he was in two different bands with his brother, Jerry. They were regularly seen in the greater Charlotte area either on vocals or the guitar.
Terry is pre-deceased by his parents and his twin brother, Jerry Doyle Padgett.
He is survived by his brother, Steve Padgett; his nieces, Stephanie Belk (Matthew), Kimberly Wise (Jimmy), and Rion Williams; and many loving cousins and extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at McEwen's Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
