

Mr. Wallace, age 27, of Charlotte, NC, died on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on June 2, 1983, in Charlotte, NC, to Tim Wallace and Pene Quick.
He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and obtained a two-year associate’s degree in business administration.
Chris worked for Dula Construction Company in Charlotte as a project manager.
Chris and his Dad shared a passion for playing basketball. He started playing when he was four and played on many teams over the years. He was currently a member of the Charlotte Basketball Club and was known for his "three pointer". Chris loved making people laugh and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his father, Tim Wallace, of Charlotte, and his mother, Pene Quick; his paternal grandmother, Hope Wallace, of Charlotte; his maternal grandmother, Claire Lawing, of Murrell’s Inlet, SC; his uncle, Sam Wallace, Jr.; his aunt and uncle, Connie (Wallace) Goodman, and husband Nelson, of Charlotte; his aunts, Tiffany Quick, of Charlotte, and Kym Bruchey, of Moultrie, Georgia; cousins and extended family.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the McEwen-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC. The Reverend Matt Broadway will officiate. Interment will be in the Robinson Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 9429 Harrisburg Rd., Charlotte, NC.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, Sam L. Wallace, Sr. and Tommy Quick.
