William T. "Billy" LeGrand

Billy, 62, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away October 24, 2018, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. Born December 11, 1955, in Charlotte, he was a son of Maryanne LeGrand and the late William Robert LeGrand.

Billy previously worked for Frito Lay, Nabisco and Lowes, and was a huge NASCAR fan. In addition to his father, Billy was preceded in death by his son, William Patrick LeGrand.

In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by his son, William Ryan LeGrand and wife, Erin, of Denver, North Carolina; two sisters, Karen Wyatt and husband, Jimmy, of Statesville, North Carolina and Kathy Stegall of Rock Hill, South Carolina; and four grandsons.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 5:00 pm Saturday, October 27, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a celebration of life service immediately following at 5:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Minister Robert L. Kennedy will officiate.
