Dear Annette and Family, we are so saddened to hear of your sweet Husband’s Passing Away! Clarence and I were so thrilled to see you and Bill at our Class picnic two years ago!

Bill always made me feel welcomed when I was at the house with Amy as a teenager, even when I never left haha, and I always appreciated it.  I enjoyed conversations about college and career with him as I got older. I remember his dry humor (my favorite kind) and pot roast, that I always hoped he’d made when I came over. I always admired his commitment to his family and his laid back, accepting approach to dealing  with us teenagers.  His example was one that always stuck with me and that I am so glad I had. He was a good man. He will be missed. So many hugs and so much love to Annette, Amy, Jason and family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I'm so glad, Amy, that were able to be there to help and provide support for your Mom and Dad.  I'm sure that was more comfort for your parents than anything else that could be given.  I love you and your family.  My heart goes out to you and your family.  Its a void but he is with you and watching over you.  I'm  saying lots of prayers for everyone.

I will truly miss Bill. I was fortunate to have him as a brother-in-law all these many years. More importantly, I was able to spend time helping with his care this past year.  He liked for me to make him coffee and oatmeal.  The last conversation I had with him was so sweet. I told him he was a handsome man and had beautiful blue eyes. I told him I was going to Asheville for a week or so. He waved his hand and said, "Tell everyone I said hello."

Bill had many successes in business and served our country in the US Navy.

He and Annette had a lot of fun. Two beautiful children and wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dear Annette and Family,

We  are so very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.  Though we didn’t know him very well,  we knew from our brief meetings with him that  he was a very fine man.  When we came from Buffalo  to visit our grandchildren we’d see him tending his beautiful garden.  The yard was immaculate and he always welcomed children to swing on that great airplane swing.  The last time we saw him my husband remarked about what a strong, firm  handshake he had.  Please know our prayers are with you.
