She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Mary Helen Baliles Teague and Albert Teague, Sr.
Charlotte’s life was centered around her family, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed food and cooking for others. She especially liked treating herself to a good donut every once and awhile.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lear Gilliam, Jr.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lisa Dickinson (David) of Cleveland, Tennessee; Teresa Collake (Mike) of Harrison, Tennessee; and five grandsons, William, Brandon, and Daniel Dickinson, Matt Collake (Victoria) and Alex Collake.
A visitation for Charlotte will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Hwy., Chattanooga, TN 37421.
Charlotte will be laid to rest on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
