Gerald John Sujkowski, 77, of McDonald, TN, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. A native of Bay City, Michigan, he was the son of the late John and Elsie Sujkowski. He has been a resident of McDonald for the past 18 years and was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He attended St. Therese Catholic Church in Cleveland, TN and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the Polish Legions of American Veterans and a 39 year member of the American legion in Cleveland.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Germaine Tudeout.
Survivors include his loving wife, Viola “Vidypie” Bacon Sujkowski; son, Richard J. (Dawn) Sujkowski; Tammy (Duke) Fischer and Toni Stallkamp; grandsons, Brandon, Cameron, Garret and Alex; brother, David Sujkowski; sisters, Jane Neering and Rose Ellison; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Valley View Chapel with Father Mike Nolan officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
