Heung Kyu Kim – 90, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010.
He was the son of the late Myungduk and Sungduk Kim and was preceded in death by his wife, Junghee Hwang Kim.
He was born Pyoungyang, Korea and moved to California in 1980. He served as a minister in both California and Nevada before coming to Chattanooga Korean Presbyterian Church in 2006.
Survivors include his two daughters, Yeunie and husband Joonwoo Paek, Younah Kim and husband Dr. Yung Lee, all of Ringgold, GA., two sons, Jongmyung Kim, Jongchan Kim, both of Duluth, GA., three grandsons, one granddaughter, brother, Rev. Taekyu Kim, of Seoul, Korea, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Eunbae Moon officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
