Ida Ann Sellards, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 9, 2015, at a local nursing home. Ann loved life and her forte always seemed to be focused on others. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will sorely be missed.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack H. Sellards.
Survivors are Jill Anne Bower (Tom Gillespie) of Chattanooga; Linda Lee Sellards Shores of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois; brother, Donald Slupianek of Normal, Illinois; grandchildren, William Jeremy Bower (Katie); Michael Torrey Bower; great grandchildren, William Jackson Bower, Weston Knox Bower, and Leonard Judah Bower.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 11, at the Valley View Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, June 12, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
