

She was born on August 27, 1937 in Visalia, California to the late Manuel and Lena Silveira and was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Lee Lauritzen and sister, Nadine Shahan.
Joyce retired from the law offices of Mullen, Sullivan and Newton located in California. Prior to moving to Tennessee, she was an active volunteer with her church in Nampa, Idaho and loved quilting and sewing.
She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Comaskey, of Chattanooga, TN, four daughters, Kelley Lauritzen, of Capitola, CA, Mary (Rene) Santos, of Chattanooga, TN, Teresa (Mark) Steeber, of Dillsburg, PA, Dinah Jones, of Dillsburg, PA, seven grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Christopher Lauritzen, Julia Lauritzen, Lailah Villarreal, Mariah Emerton, Gloria Martinez, Frank Jones, ten great grandchildren, Marley, Maverick, Ethan, Aliyah, Keirah, Tinley , Noland, Crystal, Iverson, Kahlila, sister, Doris Rodgers, of NC, brother, Manuel “Butch” Silveira, of OR, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Father Manuel Perez officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at the funeral home.
