She was born on June 2, 1933, in Loudon, Tennessee to the late Lawrence and Edna Wilson and was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Taylor, daughter, Sherry Henry, son, Herbert J. Taylor, Jr., great grandson, Michael Henry, sister, Charlcie Wilson, and two brothers, Lawrence F. Wilson, Jr., and Billy Wilson, Sr.
June was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and hunting trips to Colorado. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Valerie Slater, of Rossville, GA, Patti Boyd (Steve), of Ooltewah, TN, Sandra Taylor, of Chattanooga, TN, eight grandchildren, Jason Slater, Tracy Slater, David Henry, Ronnie Henry, Christie Ellis, Stephen Boyd, Jr., Brandy Taylor, Mandy Taylor, seven great grandchildren, brother, Jerry Wilson, of Rossville, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Ooltewah Cemetery.
