Wish I could talk to my sweet niece today, I still miss her so very much and our family needs her loving presence to spread some family love and fellowship. RIP my sweet Kathie, we love you!!!

Kathie always had a beaming smile. She had an aura that surrounded her of helpfulness and love. Always one of my favorite co-workers that could be counted on for a laugh and  encouragement. She truly was a blessing to me so many times. My heart goes out to Mike and the rest of her family.

I've known Kathie for many years and have worked with her at several places.  When I heard the news, I was devastated.   Kathie and I just spoke last week planning a lunch together.  She ask about my grown children as always.  Her last email to me, she penned this words.  "I wish he could be the young man you want him to be…that I know he can be…that God desires him to be…You are right, just keep praying!  The Bible teaches us ‘not in my time but in God’s time’….don’t give up!!!! 
 Boy was she right, not in my time but God's.   Little did we know that less than a couple weeks later, she wouldn't even be here with us.   I remember the first time Kathie shared the story of her children with me.  Since that day, I have always loved the song "it is well with my soul". and I  have never driven by that place that I didn't think of her and Mike.  Kathie has endured a lot of heartache in her lifetime but now she is reunited with her children and other loved ones.    Can you imagine the joy on her face when she sees her babies?   Another friend wrote, when you needed a laugh, you called Kathie, you needed a prayer, call Kathie.  No truer words have been spoken.  Kathie was a GEM and will definitely be missed.  She made her mark on this world.  RIP my dear sweet friend.   Until we see each other again!  I love you!!!!

Dearest Kathie was one of the funniest, kindest, most generous people I've ever met.  Working with her over the years was pure fun.  We saw some scary times in banking.  If you needed help you called Kathie, if you needed a laugh, you called Kathie, and if you needed prayer, you called Kathie.  She would be the first to help you with your dilemma and cause you to laugh at the same time.  Kathie will be deeply missed and fondly remembered until the day we meet again. We are then grieving not just them, but parts of ourselves that will never be the same again or feel complete.
We are different now.

Kathie, my dear niece❤ She was always such a big part of my life.
When she was born my dad gave her the nickname "Tootsie". My mom would often babysit her. As a child she had a favorite commercial----"MR CLEAN"  no matter where she was in the house if it came on she would run to the TV to hear the jingle.  She was big on family get togethers and would initiate most of them. Whenever you arrived you could always expect to hear a big "HOWDY" from her along with a smile. She would do anything she could for you but never ask for herself. She made it a point to take the time to always reach out to me if we hadn't talked in a week or so just to see where I was and what I'd been doing. She was the glue that held us all together.  I am blessed that she was part of my life! Now God has a new angel or as mom would say another flower for his garden.
