Pansy L. Potts, 85, of Hixson, TN, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was retired from Olan Mills as Accounting Manager with over 40 years of service, and was a member of the Middle Valley United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Jessie Stulce Lovelady and was the wife of the late, James A. Potts. She was also preceded in death by her son, Brian E. Potts, brother, Lee Lovelady and sister, Emmaline Raulston. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Bill) Clarke, Harrison; three grandchildren, Jason Potts and Jennifer Pityer both of Ringgold, GA and Suzanne Puckett, Richmond, KY; several great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Casey, Hixson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chambliss Children’s Home at ch-cs.org. Private graveside services were held Friday afternoon at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with her family friend, Gerald Clayton officiating. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
