I think about Richard often, hearing him come into the office, saying Good Morning to everyone before he got to his office (you could hear him from a mile away!), taking his walk through the plant then reviewing the numbers from the day before. He was an awesome leader, friend and boss. I miss him, but we still talk…

Richard was a hard charger and up for any challenge. He was an extraordinary person worthy of looking up to. He had a heart the size of the moon and was willing to help anyone in need. 
One of Richard's greatest strengths was that he loved people. He had the gift of making anyone he talked to feel important, appreciated and trusted.
We had many fulfilling years working together. 
Our motto was SEE HILL - TAKE HILL.
I will miss him dearly.

My dad was my hero, my friend, my mentor and at several points in my career, my fearless leader!  He was who I called when I just needed to talk and someone to listen without giving me their opinion.  Sometimes I would talk to him multiple times a day just for advice on anything business related.  I will be forever grateful for that bond.  I miss you so much Dad, but I know this isn't goodbye forever.  It's goodbye for now.  I love you Pa.  

Birthday party shenanigans! Dad knew how to celebrate life and family!  

We lost a true hero on December 20th. This  is a man of great courage and strength to endure the obstacles of a terrible disease that did not define him. He fought the battle well and achieved eternal life!  Love you Dad and we’ll see each other again!  

My prayers and thoughts are with the family in loving Richard as such a special VP he was to me at Beaulieu. Will never forget all the way s he work for you and not all about him.

A true leader of men, both in the military and in our industry. Enjoyed working with him and for him. Didn’t mind getting chewed out because I knew he was right and 5 seconds later it was over. Mostly enjoyed our conversations about life and family. He could be a little intimidating if you didn’t know him, but really, he was a big teddy bear. Will miss him but I know I can still talk to him. Semper Fi sir. 

I spent 49 years in the carpet industry. Richard was the one executive I respected the most.  He always stood up for the sales force.  He encouraged us, helped us and appreciated us. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart.  
I am very saddened by his passing.
