Richard enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing tennis, and spending time with his family. His love for the outdoors and the people close to him will be fondly remembered. He proudly served his country in the US Army.
He is survived by one son, Jake Burkhardt, three daughters, Alanah Burkhardt, Joannah Burkhardt, Angela Rose, one granddaughter, Gabrielle Rose, and a brother, Kenneth (Joanne) Burkhardt.
