I met Bob when he and Anne visited Life Gate Baptist Church. They later joined the church and I had the privilege of becoming friends with him. I will always remember his love and concern for others. He enjoyed visiting those were shut-in and helping those who had needs at church. Even his work provided a way for him to serve and help those dealing with physical illnesses. Bob was a faithful testimony to and wonderful example of his Lord and Savior. I will miss him. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints (Psalm 116:15).

Bob has been a good friend and fellow believer since the Utters began attending Stanley Heights Baptist Church several years ago. I have such pleasant memories of fellowship with Bob and his dear wife Anne in their home, in our home, in restaurants, and at church.
I will miss him, but rejoice that he now is with his Lord Jesus Christ and released from the pain and frustration he has experienced.

I could fill a book with my memories, Dad., but I'm limited. The time you came home from work and surprised me with my favorite perfume. The time you came and dug Chris and me out of a snow bank. Rushing you to the ER when you sawed your fingers off. The many times I saw you early in the morning with your Bible, having your devotions, the zillions of times I saw you bent over in the garden, weeding, picking, carrying a load of produce to the house and even helping with the freezing! I have slowly been saying goodbye to you and I'm so happy for you that you are with Jesus and enjoying Heaven. I'll see you soon. I love you!
