I am so sorry to learn about Sharon. I was so worried about her. We were friends from Doverside Drive, next door neighbors.  I looked out one day and a little girl about nine years old was sitting on my steps and we have been friends ever since.  My husband thought the world of her.  She would come over and watch Hew Haw every Saturday night because it was her Sunday and she couldn’t watch it at home. Loved Roy Clark.  We rode bikes through the neighborhood. She was there when my first son was born and played with him everyday.  I loved her dearly and will miss her terribly.  We made one trip to see the Titans together. I had the honor of knowing Sharon more than 30yrs. She was my mother’s “crazy friend Sharon” in my teens. She became Monnie when I was pregnant with my 3rd child, Josiah bc she decided Christopher was taking too long to make her a grandmother and my mother had enough grandkids to share so this one was going to be hers. Then later in my life she became my crazy friend Sharon and my landlord. 
Sharon loved fiercely, she was wonderfully mischievous, a magnificent cook, gifted with a sewing machine, loved coloring, she had a passion for animals and she was generous with her time and resources. She was a very proud lady who rarely asked anything of anyone but never hesitated to be there for you. To be fair she also had a stubborn streak a mile wide. She taught me a lot and I loved her dearly. Crazy Monnie Sharon will be missed. But the Titans should have a great season bc she will no doubt be at the throne of God petitioning Him to give the boys a little something extra for her! 

I've known Sharon since we were 10.  We had countless adventures together and made so many memories.  We always stayed in touch over the years and shared much laughter and sometimes tears.  We moved to the Chattanooga area a year ago and I was able to see her more often.  We even did a mini road trip last Fall and were planning to go to the beach this summer.  I loved her and am going to miss her very much!

Sharon was one of my best friends in high school.  She was a sunny bright spot in my life of endless studies.   She loved country music  and we would often go to the  original Gramd Old Opry after 11 pm on Saturday night when they let anyone in free.    I was looking forward to seeing her this summer at our family reunion in Collegedale, but now will have to wait for heaven.  

Our nearly 50 years of friendship is packed with so many memories!

From the moment Sharon came into this world, she became my own real live “baby doll”.  Whenever she was with me, I carried her around on my hip until I decided it was time for her to walk. I would put her tiny feet on top of my feet and walk her around until she would almost fall asleep in mid step! We often laughed about the time we played hide and seek with several of the cousins and I hid  her in the dirty clothes hamper. We got side tracked and began playing something else the rest of the afternoon and completely forgot about her. When I finally realized that she was no where to be found, I went and opened the dirty clothes hamper and there she was…..fast asleep!  She was easy to love and she and I remained close and kept in touch! I will miss her phone calls and her sweet voice and tremendously funny personality! No matter how serious our conversations would be, we would always end up laughing at some hysterically weird subject that one of us would bring up. I will miss her so very much, but, I know she is in the loving arms of our precious Heavenly Father and free from all the pain and heartache she had in this world!!!!❤️💔

Sharon you will be missed the day you passed away I learned of your death I went to provinos restaurant I thought about you I know how you loved that place see you in Heaven some day.

Thank you for taking me to my first Titan game. Thank you for teaching me a life lesson- never lower my standards. Thank you for making mom laugh every day. I will carry on all of our memories. I love you endlessly. 🤟🏼

Tabitha Venable (Cousin)

Sharon was one of a kind and I loved her dearly.  She would come and stay with our dogs  when we traveled and they loved her.  We watched fireworks every 4th of July from her home up on the ridge.  She was a faithful and loving friend, always there when you needed her.  I will miss her so much.

My condolences and prayers go Sharon's family......Sharon was a foster mom for my fur baby Brighton, aka Heidi, and I am forever that Sharon gave her such a loving start to life. I will remember her fondly.
