Stephen Charles Carson, 65, of Chattanooga died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at his home. He was born December 19, 1959, in Plainfield, Illinois to the late Charles Edward Carson and Nina Mooneyham Carson.
Steve was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Tyner High School, Chattanooga State and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was a longtime employee of Bank of America, working in information technology prior to retiring.
Survivors include his longtime partner, Susan Murphey of Chattanooga, sister, Wanda (Bob) Perry of Ooltewah, nephews, Kevin (Kayte) Perry of Soddy Daisy and Jeff Perry of Cleveland, great nephews, Stuart Perry and Connor Perry of Soddy Daisy, great niece, Bradlie Perry of Cleveland, aunt, Virginia Davis of Ooltewah, as well as several cousins. In addition to his family the big loves of his life were his dog, Sport and cats, Ozzie and Cubbie.
