Born on August 27th, 1927, in Ooltewah, Tennessee, William was the son of the late William Chester and Hazel Johns.
William retired as a supervisor in the construction industry. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
William will be remembered as a wonderful man and dad by his family and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Johns; and his great-grandson, Anthony Lynn Duckett. He is survived by his sister Pearl Lee; his son, Billy (Shirley) Johns; his daughter, Alice Farrow; his grandchildren, Cynthia Jean Farrow and George Christopher Farrow; and his great-granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Duckett.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church cemetery at 2:00 p.m., located at 6807 Snowhill Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
