William L. Kitchens, 74, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. A native of Cochran, GA, he has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 15 years. He was retired from Mid-South Equipment Company and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeri I. Kitchens; two sons, William L. Kitchens and Russell M. Kitchens; brother, Paul Kitchens. Survivors include two sons, William R. (Cathy) Kitchens and Jeffery Paul (Paula) Kitchens; four grandchildren, Heather Anne Kitchens, Russell M. Kitchens, Derrick R. Kitchens and Dustin C. Kitchens; four great grandchildren, Destiny M. Kitchens, Haven Kitchens, Dakota Kitchens and Colton Kitchens; sister, Linda Tomlinson. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with the Rev. Dennis Rawlins officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
