Antonia Hernandez, age 63, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully November 4th, 2020 after her 3-year battle with ALS. She was born June 13, 1957 in Balsas Sur, estado de Guerrero, Mexico to David Marron and Micaela Corrales. Antonia is survived by her husband, Jose Hernandez; five children and their spouses, Jose Jr. Hernandez, Orlando (Judith) Hernandez, Tony (Kelsey) Hernandez, Jeanette Hernandez, and Brenda Hernandez; seven grandchildren, Orlando Hernandez Jr., Nathan Hernandez, Aaliyah Loera, Delilah Zaniya Wright, Aubree Bella Loera, Ashley Olivia Hernandez, and Ezra Carmelo Hernandez; mother, Micaela Corrales, brother, sisters and their spouses, Francisco (Alejandrina) Marron, (Santana) Marron, Guadalupe Flores, Cirina (Gerardo) Vasquez, Manuel (Luz Eliza) Marron, Juana Marron, David (Elvia) Marron, and Angelica (Eric) Freund; and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Guadalupe Hernandez, father, David Marron, brother, Reynaldo Marron, and brother-in-law Abelardo Flores.
Family & friends are invited to pay respects during the Visitation on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Ridge Funeral Home (Edward A. Tylka Manager/Director), 6620 W Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5300 24th St, Cicero, IL 60804. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S. Wolf Rd., Hillside, IL.
Antonia was a fighter in all aspects of life. She faced challenges, including ALS, with strength and a sharp tongue. She always spoke her mind and had an incredible sense of humor. Until her health condition made it impossible, Antonia loved to dance, spend time with her family, and keep an impeccable home. Her heart was full of faith in God, innocence, and humility. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Antonia will be dearly missed.

Antonia Hernández, de 63 años, falleció pacíficamente el 4 de noviembre de 2020 después de una batalla de 3 años con ELA. Nació el 13 de junio de 1957 en Balsas Sur, estado de Guerrero, México de David Marron y Micaela Corrales.
Antonia fue una luchadora en todos los aspectos de la vida. Ella enfrentó desafíos, incluyendo la ELA, con fuerza y una lengua afilada. Siempre decía lo que pensaba y tenía un increíble sentido del humor. Hasta que su estado de salud lo hizo imposible, a Antonia le encantaba bailar, pasar tiempo con su familia y mantener un hogar impecable. Su corazón estaba lleno de fe en Dios, inocencia y humildad. Una amada esposa, madre, hija, hermana y amiga, Antonia será profundamente extrañada.
