Bernadette Jean Scollard

Bernadette J. Scollard (Bober), affectionately known as Cookie, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026, at the age of 69 years. Beloved wife of the late John, and daughter of the late Edward and Julia Bober. Loving mother to her daughters, Erin (Brendan) Roberts, and Ashley (Tim Magnini), and son, Brett (Kimberlee). Proud grandma of Michael, Aurora, Kaitlin, Aspen, and Owen.

Cherished sister of Denise (Bill) Gliwa, Christine (Jerry) Pelot, and Alan Bober. Dear aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend of many. Cookie loved spending time with her family and friends and caring for the many pets she loved throughout the years. She will be remembered for her kindness and loving heart.

Memorial visitation for Bernadette (Cookie) will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Family and Friends will meet for a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM., at Blessed Martyrs of Chimbote Parish, 6101 West 75th Ave, Summit, IL 60501. Luncheon to follow.
