Danielle graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and would go on to earn her bachelor's degree of arts from Rosary College (currently Dominican College) in Communcation and with a minor in Music.
Music was a lifelong passion of Danielle's. She was also a caring advocate as a member of the Patient Advisor Board at the Johnston R. Bowman Health Center. Danielle was also an animal lover and supported several local animal shelters.
Danielle fought a long 30-year battle with multiple sclerosis. But through this time, she helped herself and others with their illness by working with MS foundations and patient advisory groups.
Danielle was the beloved daughter of Lois and Dan Ferone, the cherished sister of Jennifer (Brian) Gierat, loving aunt to Riley, Owen, and Eliot Gierat, and special niece and God-daughter of Joyce (the late Arthur) Fischer and Ralph (the late Ellen) Ferone. She was beloved by many others and will be deeply missed.
Visitation for Danielle will be on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM., at St Daniel the Prophet Church, 6612 West 54th Street, Chicago, IL 60638.
