Diane DeVitto

Diane DeVitto, age 80. Passed away peacefully on April 28th 2023. Loving wife of the late Ronald R. DeVitto. Devoted mother of Michael (Donna), Linda (John) McVady, Ronnie (Lisa), Jimmy (Kim) and the late Joseph (Maribell). Cherished grandmother of Randall, Allison, Alec, Stephanie, Austin, the late Matthew, Timothy, Ashley, Grace, Rocco, and Vinny. Dear sister of James (Margaret) Kostka. Dear sister-in-law of Lois (the late Danny) Kressy, the late Ruth (the late Jim) Schultz, and the late Muriel (the late Joe) Lorber. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She was an avid gardener, crafter, holiday decorator and proud matriarch. Her flowers were the envy of everyone who had the honor to view them. Even the jets flying into Midway were welcomed into Chicago with the beauty of her garden.

Visitation for Diane will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Prayer Service will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 9:30 AM, Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM at St Daniel the Prophet Church, 5300 S Natoma Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7201 Archer Rd., Justice, IL 60458.
