Javier Estrada

Javier Estrada died in his Chicago home on June 24, 2022, at the age of 77 years.

Javier was born in 1945 in a town called Santiaguillo, near Zamora, Michoacán in Mexico. His parents were Roque and Soledad who had 12 children.

Javier met his wife Imelda in Chicago and they were married on June 14, 1975. They had four children and five grandchildren. Javier worked and retired from Ideal Box Company after over 37 years of employment.

Javier is survived by his wife Imelda of more than 47 years of marriage, as well as by his siblings Maximino, Ruben, Maria de Jesus, Guadalupe and Lupita. Javier's children include Esperanza, Rosa, Javier Jr. and David. He is survived also by 5 grandchildren: Angel, Damian, Daniel, Soledad and Benjamin.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 3:00 pm. to 8:00 pm., at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager), 6620 W. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. The funeral will be on Saturday July 9, 2022 beginning with prayer at 8:15 am, at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 7114 S. Hamlin, Chicago, IL. Burial will be at St. Casimir Cemetery, 4401 W. 111th Street, Chicago, IL. Sr. Javier Estrada, falleció en su casa en Chicago, la noche del 24 de junio de 2022, a la edad de 77 años.

Javier nació en 1945 en Santiaguillo, cerca de Zamora, Michoacán en México. Sus padres, Roque y Soledad tuvieron 12 hijos. Javier conoció a Imelda Lopez en Chicago y estaban casados por 47 años. Tuvieron 4 hijos y 5 nietos.

A Javier le sobrevive su esposa Imelda, así como sus hermanos Maximino, Ruben, Maria de Jesus, Guadalupe y Lupita. Sus hijos sobrevivientes incluyen a Esperanza, Rosa, Javier Jr. y David. Le sobreviven también 5 nietos: Angel, Damian, Daniel, Soledad y Benjamin.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en Ridge Funeral Home, (6620 W. Archer Ave, Chicago), de 3 p.m. a 8 p.m. el viernes 8 de julio de 2022. La misa se llevará a cabo a las 9:00 a.m., el sábado 9 de julio de 2022, en la iglesia Queen of the Universe, 7114 S. Hamlin, Chicago, IL. El entierro seguirá después de la misa, en el cementerio St. Casimir, 4401 W. 111th Street, Chicago, IL.
