Loving husband of 50 years to Barbara T. Szubert. Loving father of Louis Karol (Monica Villarreal) Szubert. Grandfather to Victor Louis Szubert. Loving father of Barbara E. Szubert. Grandfather to Katherine Szubert, and Great Grandfather to Kehlani Szubert.

He was the son of the late Josef and Anna Szubert. He was a loving brother and uncle as well.
