David Matthew Wilde

David was born on January 11, 1953, in Regina, Saskatchewan. He spent many years working as a bus driver for the City of Regina, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Dave and his wife, Deb, built a life in Regina filled with family and adventure. In 2016, they moved to British Columbia to enjoy a milder climate and their retirement together.

A traveler at heart, Dave especially loved visiting Hawaii with his family. The beautiful sandy beaches, warm sunshine, and time spent together created many treasured memories that they both held close.

Dave was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Elva Wilde (née Heron), as well as his brother and sisters.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Debra; his children, Tracy (Jason) Dittmann, Krista Wilde, and Luc Wilde (Tina Rahimi); his cherished grandchildren, Emily Dittmann, Julie Dittmann, Brylen Bastura, Macksen Bastura, and Keslyn Bastura; his mother-in-law; his sister; his nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at Cascade Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness they showed Dave in his final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cascade Hospice in David's memory.

In keeping with Dave's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place in Silton, Saskatchewan.

David will be remembered for his love for his family, his sense of adventure, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
