Marilyn Ryan passed away on June 3, 2026, at the age of 73. She was born on January 5, 1953.

Marilyn was predeceased by her spouses, Reginal Thompson and Charlie Ryan; her parents, Victorine Gabriel, nee Charlie, and Norman Gabriel; her son, Reginald Thompson; and her siblings, Alfred Gabriel, Jackie Gabriel, Shirley Gabriel, and Ronnie Gabriel.

She is survived by her partner, Raymond (Dooley) Gregoire; her daughter, Vicki Newman; her grandson, Herbert Hanuse; her siblings, Ina Berg, Norma George, Josephine Peters, Francis Sam, Carl Sam, Norman Gabriel (Alopa), Alvin Gabriel, and Arlene; and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Gabriel, Norman Sepass, Hugh Sepass, Little Carl, Jonah Sam, Charles Newman, Dan Edwards, Gerry Stewart, with honourary pallbearers Mike George, Keith George, Tony Gabriel, and Bill Sepass.
