It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ty Burgess who was called home to our Creator on March 19, 2021, in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 37. Ty was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, but had lived in the Fraser Valley for most of his adult life. Ty is survived by his father, Frank Burgess, son, Dominic and daughter Dailyn, sisters: Christine, Kathy, Deborah, Leah, Syreeta, Stacey, and Kyna, brothers: Darren, Jason, Cody, Daniel and Ferris. Ty was predeceased by his mother, Cookie Trottier, wife, Keisha Burgess, nephew, Devin Trottier, and his paternal and maternal grandparents He also leaves behind nieces: Syreeta, Tiffany, Destiny, Kelsey, Makena, Ticoh, Tiana, Kaylee, Emilee, Devin, Danielle, Olivia, Dominique, and D’andra, nephews: Glenn, Ryan, Dreadon, Dason, Carson, Brendan, Christopher, Zachary, and De’Jon, cousins, relatives and dear friends. Ty will be remembered for his amazing smile and his love for his family and many friends. He had the rare ability to make each person in his life feel special and loved. Until we see you again, Ty. You will forever be in our hearts.

A wake for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 5:00 – 10:00 PM, at Cultus Lake Community Hall – 4220 Columbia Valley Highway, Cultus Lake. There will only be 10 people at a time that can attend, due to COVID protocols. Please text 604-791-3703, to book a time.
