Douglas D. Duncan of El Cajon passed away at Sharp Grossmont Hospital on 6/13/2023. Doug was born and educated in Norfolk, Virginia. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University,
Doug served three years as a Naval officer, including a tour in Vietnam. After his discharge, Doug moved to San Diego to join the Equitable of Iowa in 1960. By 1975 he was the Agency Manager in San Diego.
Doug had two daughters with his first wife, Margie, Kelly K. Ray and Wendy N. Brewer. He was also the proud grandparent of Aubrey R. Ray, Jade Brewer and Calvin Brewer. He leaves his current wife, Eleanor, after almost 35 years of marriage.
Doug was much loved in his neighborhood, especially by the local canines, as they could always count on a treat as they passed his garage. Per his request, there will no services.
