Thank you for allowing me to be a part of honoring the memory of an amazing and beautiful woman. I always admired Liz’s courage, determination, and dedication. As a teacher, she had the courage to voice her opinion about issues she felt were unfair. She was always determined to provide her input even if she knew others would not agree. She was definitely not afraid to stand alone in her beliefs. But her most admirable trait was the dedication she gave to her work, friends, and the family she loved so dear. I will miss our chats at yard duty and lunch at Vista del Mar School. She was definitely my coca-cola buddy... as we both shared the same soda addiction. I also remember teasing her about her enormous umbrella...she reminded me of Mary Poppins. She touched the lives of many in her own loving way and left behind special memories. I offer you my sincere and deepest condolences during this difficult time. Liz was an amazing woman who’s legacy will continue with her beautiful children who she loved so very much. Es difícil comprender y aceptar que ya no estás aquí,  pero el haber sido testigo de tu gran fé en Dios y tu fortaleza me trae consuelo en días difíciles.  Amigas en las buenas y en las malas,  así fue nuestra amistad.  Pero esa amistad no terminó el día de tu partida porque más que amigas  nuestro grupo ya es familia.  Siempre honraré lo que te prometí.  En paz descanses amiga Liz.  Roberto, Giovanni, Isabella y familia Contreras los acompaño en su dolor.
