

Frank was born to Francisco and Herminia Famania on May 12, 1952 in Ensenada, BC, Mexico. He was raised in National City, CA and a Sweetwater Union High School Graduate, class of 1970. Frank was a veteran of the US Army and served in Germany in the 70’s.
He worked in construction for over 40 years working for different companies such as Hazzard before retiring from Solar Turbines after 15 years in 2015.
Frank enjoyed camping outings and family trips to Las Vegas and Puerto Penasco. His true happiness though was hanging out with his 2 buddies, Xavier and Ezekiel, his grandsons. He loved watching them play baseball and basketball. Frank never missed a game even while undergoing Chemotherapy treatments.
Frank was preceded in death by his sister Christina and his Brother Robert.
He is survived by his Daughter Lynnette Martinez (Eric), 2 Grandsons, Xavier and Ezekiel, his mother Herminia Famania. Brothers; Victor, Fernando, Roy, Oscar and Alex. Sisters; Nieves and Nancy and host of Nieces and Nephews.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29th from 5pm to 9pm with Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm both at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Mass of the Resurrection will be Celebrated Monday, January 30th at 11:00am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 293 “H” Street, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A private interment will follow.
Blessed are those who have died in the Lord; let them rest from their labors for their good deeds go with them.
Eternal rest grant unto Frank, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
